There are lots of things to see and do in Bristol whilst you are here, from its engineering history to its love of urban street art. As you wander around the streets, you will feel the thrum of the city’s soul, vibrating from every building, fountain, park and statue. Bristol prides itself on its green credentials, which are evident in all corners of the city, from the cycle lanes to the local produce vendors.

The city centre has many shops, bars, pubs and cafes, open early until late every day. The main shopping centres are The Galleries and Cabot Circus.

The Old Market Quarter is popular for its wide range of independent and bohemian shopping, and also St Nicholas Market, which you can wander around for hours.

We The Curious is a great place for kids and adults, to explore scientific wonders. You can also visit the planetarium there and take a tour of the night sky.

There are several museums and galleries , for example M-Shed (the history of Bristol), Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, Arnolfini (art gallery), The SS Great Britain (iconic Brunel Ship), to name but a few.

You could simply take a stroll around the Harbourside, or around Castle Park to soak up the feel of this vibrant city.
